A Gentle Edge

Hey people! I’m Laura - A Canadian-based filmmaker, actor and audiobook narrator, creating mainly from my home studio. I am a member of IATSE 212 in the Grip, High Rigger, Ground Rigger, and General Stage departments.

In addition to working in union productions, I am working on several creative projects in which I use this platform to share. Writing, music, and personal indie films are my main focus.

Nature has always been a key interest point for me, and I am compelled to tell stories that reflect the grey area found between different points of view. Evoking the imagination and allowing us to find layers of truth within. My work tends to be dark and edgy, but it is also flooded with light. Shadows are fascinating, and shadows cannot exist without light.
